Creating properties is a great way to stay organized about your portfolio and allows you to set up segments within your account. Another great benefit of using properties is these fields can automatically be pulled into Tear Sheets, Reports, and Dashboards -- saving you time while building your reporting.
To create a property or edit, head to the 'Portfolio' homepage and select the three dots at the top right of your account. Then select 'Company Properties'.
Next, scroll down to the bottom of the Properties page to add your new property. You can choose from several different data types.
Once the property has been added to this page, this field now shows up on all portfolio company profiles under the 'Properties' section. From here, you can add in the values for each company from within their profile.
