My Google Sheet is not showing up when trying to connect to Visible Tips for connecting a sheet from a shared Google Drive to Visible

In order for a Google Sheet to connect to Visible, the sheet must be in a personal drive (as opposed to shared drive) when attempting to connect the sheet.

If your sheet is in a shared drive, we suggest following the steps below:

Temporarily move the sheet from your shared drive to team drive. You can do by:

  • Clicking the folder icon next to the sheet name. Click back until you see "My Drive". Click "My Drive" where you will be prompted to switch ownership to your personal drive. 

  • Once the sheet has been moved to your personal drive, connect the sheet within Visible. 

  • After the sheet is connected in Visible you can move the sheet back to your shared drive (using the same steps as shown above) so the same members will continue to have access.
