Validating your domain and removing Visible branding
Validating your domain and removing Visible branding is an easy way to personalize your Requests and Updates before sending them to stakeholders.
Navigate to the Settings cog at the bottom left of your account. Select Update settings from the inner left side pane followed by Add sender domain.
Note: The domain you are verifying needs to match the domain you send communications via Visible to properly authenticate. For example, if you are registered to Visible with john.doe@acmeco.com, you will need to verify acmeco.com.
After entering your domain, click Save. You will be given three records to set for your domain. Click Validate. You also have the option to remove Visible branding by turning off the toggle title Remove Visible branding.
Note: Sometimes DNS settings and providers can be more art that science. Typically, the domain is live within an hour, but in certain cases it can take up to 48 hours to propagate and verify. Contact us if you have any issues.
Deliverability when enabling a custom domain can also be impacted by your own reputation with email providers.
