To edit an existing Request, follow the directions below:

Step One: Click Requests on your left side navigation bar and then choose the specific Request you want to edit.

First click Requests on the left side navigation bar. Then choose the Request you want to edit.

Step Two: Click the Request editor to begin editing your request.

Click Request editor to begin editing your Request.

Step Three: From the inner navigation bar, choose between Settings, Schedule, and Content based on what you want to edit.

Choose between the Settings, Companies, Schedule, Content, and Preview sections on the inner, left side pane to change the relevant details. Make sure to press Save after making changes.

Click Settings to edit the name of the Request, who the sender of the Request is, choose who should be notified when it is completed, if you'd like to receive bounce notifications and if you'd like AI generated notes based on portfolio company's submissions.

From the Settings menu, you can edit the name of the Request, choose who's email address the Request will be sent from, who will be notified when a request is completed, if you want to be notified about a request bouncing, and if you want to have AI summary notes generated.

Click Companies to choose which companies should be added to the requests and designate the company contacts that should receive it.

Under the companies tab, choose which companies should receive the request. Then select the company contacts that should be added to it.

Click Schedule to make a change to the due date, alter the notification schedule of the Request, or change the email template your portfolio Companies will see.

When changing the recurring due date schedule within the Request editor, you are changing the 'Upcoming' and all future Request due dates. For more information on changing Request due dates, check out How to change a Request's due date.

Making a Change to the Content of an Active Request

Upon saving, you will be asked whether you want to apply these changes immediately to the 'Current' Request or just apply to the 'Upcoming' Request.

Note: If a company has already submitted its Request, this change won't impact the data. It will only affect outstanding Request links.
