File tags make it faster and easier for investors to find specific documents across their portfolio companies, whether they need a board deck, a financial statement, or legal agreements.

Tags can also be applied automatically through Requests and the AI Inbox, reducing manual work and keeping documents consistently organized across your portfolio.

Step One: Navigate to Settings. Then click File settings to view the pre-created tags.

Click Settings at the bottom left side of your screen and then choose File settings from the inner navigation menu.

Step Two: Add new file tags, edit existing tags, or remove the ones that are not applicable.

Add a new file tag, edit the existing tags or delete ones that you do not need.

Step Three: Add tags to existing files by navigating to the company's profile and choosing Files from the inner navigation menu. Then add the tag.

Click on a company's profile and then click Files from the inner navigation menu. From there, you can add tags to existing files.

Step Four: Automatically tag files that are gathered via a Request.

Inside the request, choose the File block. Once added, you'll see the section to add the File tag to the File block.

Step Five: Tag files that are imported through the AI Inbox.

Choose your tag when adding files from the AI Inbox.
