Visible currently supports MCP server in the following: Claude Desktop, Raycast, Cursor, VSCode, Zapier MCP.
Setting up Visible MCP server may vary, depending on whether you use Mac or PC. Continue reading to see how to set up Claude Desktop on Mac and PC.
Claude (MacOS)

For step-by-step directions, continue reading below.
1. Insall Node.JS (https://nodejs.org/en)
2. Head to Settings -> MCP Server -> Enable MCP Server
3. In Claude, click your user profile -> settings
4. Choose developer -> edit config
5. From here, you'll be taken to a .json file. Right click on the file -> open with the Text.Edit.app app that's native to Mac.

6. Navigate to the MCP server section of your Visible account (as shown in Step #2), copy the Claude Desktop configuration, and paste it into your open text editor window.
7. Save the file by clicking Cmd + S. Close text editor and Claude.
8. Once Claude has been closed, reopen it and navigate to the developer section from Step #4. You should see Visible listed underneath Local MCP servers with a status bar indicating that it's running.
Claude (Windows)
1. Insall Node.JS (https://nodejs.org/en)
2. Head to Settings -> MCP Server -> Enable MCP Server
3. In Claude, navigate to file -> settings
4. Choose developer -> edit config
5. From here, you'll be taken to a .json file. Right click on the file -> open with and choose Notepad
6. Navigate to the MCP server section of your Visible account (as shown in Step #2), copy the Claude Desktop configuration, and paste it into your open Notepad window.
7. Save the file by clicking Ctrl + S. Close Notepad and Claude. Be sure to fully close Claude by opening your task manager and clicking Ctrl + Shift + Escape -> Claude -> click End Task.
8. Once Claude has been closed, reopen it and navigate to the developer section from Step #4. You should see Visible listed underneath Local MCP servers with a status bar indicating that it's running.
