How to connect your Slack instance to Visible

This article explains how to connect your Slack workspace to Visible once and reuse that connection across features like Updates.

Step One: Go to Settings and click Slack from the inner navigation menu. Then select Connect to Slack.


From your account settings, open the new Slack page. Next click Connect to Slack. and follow the prompts to authorize the connection. Once connected, you will see your workspace name displayed on the Slack settings page.


Step Two: Click Allow to connect Slack to your Visible account.

Click allow through Slack's authenticator. Once connected, features like Updates will let you turn on Share via Slack and pick which channel to post to. You do not need to reconnect Slack for each feature, the connection is shared.

Step Three: Disconnect Slack if needed.


If you ever need to remove the connection, go back to Settings, open Slack, and click Disconnect. Any feature using Slack will show as not connected the next time it is opened.
