To share specific folder in your Data Room, you will need to share the Data Room with Visible Contacts. To start, you'll want to open your Data Room and click Share toward the top right of your screen. Once you have opened your sharing settings, you will want to be under the Invited users tab.
Enter an email address or contact name and click on the dropdown underneath Can access. Select the folders in the Data Room you want this contact to be able to access and click Invite. The investor will be able to access the folders you selected to share with them. See screenshots below:
Step One: Click Data Rooms from the navigation bar & choose your Data Room. Then click Sharing at the top right side of your screen.
Choose Data Rooms from the navigation menu and then click the Data Room you want to share. Next, click Sharing in the top right side of your screen.
Step Two: Enter in the contact's name or email address. Then, under Can view, choose which folders you want the contact to a have access to. Next, click Invite.
Under Contacts, type the individuals name or email address. Then, under Can view, choose the folders that you want the contact to be able to access. Next click Invite.
The contact will then receive an invite via email to access the data room.
When you invite a Visible contact to a data room, they receive an email with a secure link to view it. After clicking "View" they simply verify their email to authenticate, with no need to create a Visible account or remember a password. Once authenticated, they're taken straight into the data room and can browse the pages, files, and metrics you've shared.
Please note that each invite or reminder email generates a new secure link, so older links expire once a new one is sent. If a contact reports an expired link, they should use the most recent email or ask you to resend the invite.
