Visible data rooms are a great tool for storing and sharing key documents. In certain cases, you may want to prevent a viewer from being able to download shared content. Disabling downloads in data rooms allows you to prevent users from downloading your content if you have shared a data room. This will help your team control access to your most important information.

Continue reading to learn how to disable data room downloads.

First, navigate to the data room that you are sharing and click the three dots next to the data room's name. Next, click settings.

Once on the settings page, you will see the Downloads section at the bottom of your screen. Toggle enable data room downloads to the off position to prevent viewers from downloading your data room content.

Once you have toggled "Enable data room downloads" to the off position, viewers will no longer be able to download data room content.
