Many founders choose to add links into the Cover Page of their Data Rooms to take investors to other areas of the Data Room when they click the link.
This article will show you how.
Step One: Navigate to your Data Room and click Sharing.
First, go to your Data Room and click Sharing in the top right side of your screen.
Step Two: Toggle on Link Sharing & copy the link.
Click on the Link Sharing tab & then toggle on Link Sharing. Next, copy the link and paste it into a new tab.
Step Three: From the Hosted Data Room, navigate to the Page or Folder you want to link to and then copy the URL.
Using the hosted Data Room, go to the Page or Folder that you want to link to. Then, copy the URL.
Step Four: Navigate to the Data Room inside your Visible account and highlight the text that you want to link. Click the link button, paste the URL. Click the check mark to save the link.
Go to your Data Room from inside your Visible account. Then highlight the text you want to link to and click the link button from the tool bar. Next, paste the URL and click the check mark to save the link.
Step Five: Publish the changes.
Click Publish Changes for your work to be saved inside the hosted Data Room.
Step Six: Refresh the hosted Data Room and confirm that the link works as intended.
Once you refresh your hosted Data Room, you can see that the text is now linked. When an investor clicks this button, they will now be redirected to the correct folder or page.
